Our mission is to promote and improve good sportsmanship and athletics, as well as harmony and friendship among those individuals and entities interested in athletics among today’s youth and the raising of funds in order to provide merit-based scholarships and awards to deserving young athletes who reside in the Town of Wolcott.

We believe in recognizing performance both in the classroom and on the playing field through college scholarships. We’ve awarded more than $247,000 in scholarships to 332 Wolcott students who have excelled both academically and athletically.  Eligible students are encouraged to apply using our scholarship application.

Each year, we acknowledge the notable achievements of our former athletes by induction into our Hall of Fame, an honor that has been bestowed on individuals and teams since 1997.  Nominations are made by the residents of Wolcott, making this a true community-based honor.  Contact us to nominate a worthy candidate!

In addition to our scholarships and Hall of Fame awards, we bestow the Brian P. Borghesi Meritorious Service Award, the Nicholas E. D’Agostino Humanitarian Award, and awards for Distinguished Service, Lifetime Achievement in Coaching, Outstanding Coach and Outstanding Team.  Contact us to nominate a candidate for these awards.

Our volunteers raise funds for our mission through several events each year including a 5k Run/Walk, a Comedy Night, a Dueling Pianos Night and our Annual Awards Banquet.  We also rely on private donations and corporate sponsorships. Learn about and purchase tickets to our upcoming event here.
